Table of Contents
Adding social proof is always important on most types of business website or landing page. However it can be tricky to create a visually consistent gallery of quotes in Carrd, so here are three ways you can do it.
Custom (Carrd + CSS)
This one was created by our editor, Mark. It’s manually built in Carrd, and can take quotes from any source. It does require the use a CSS code, but you can find out how to implement it with his Carrd tutorial bundle. You can see the below example in action on tinydesignlessons.com.
Elfsight widget
The below screenshot shows a gallery of tweets built in Elfsight, which can be embedded as a widget in Carrd. The benefit of this is that they take the content from live tweets but strip out any images. You also don't have to upload the avatars, and you can add the star rating.
It costs $5/mo to remove the Elfsight logo (get $15 off via my link).
Jason’s Plugins
Jason is another top Carrd resource maker. He has made two free Carrd widgets for displaying testimonials.
- Testimonial slider
This is a simple, responsive slider for customer testimonials. This one is lazy loading, so it loads only when the visitor scrolls to the tweets section. You can see a demo here.
- Testimonial wall
This one is designed for displaying a wall of selected tweets. You can use it to showcase any social proof, customer testimonials, or reviews from Twitter. This one is also lazy-loading, to help with faster page loads. You can see a demo here.
You can see more Carrd resources like these on our main site starrt.co
