Carrd’s privacy policy states that the platform doesn't collect any personal information or use cookies for tracking purposes.
However, if you're adding third-party services to your Carrd site (like Google Analytics, Facebook Pixel, or embedded content from other sites), those might be using cookies.
To be safe, it's a good idea to check the privacy policies of any third-party tools you're using and consider adding a cookie consent banner to your Carrd site.
Tools add a cookie consent to Carrd
⚠️
Note: Cookie consent tools generally require adding a code snippet, which means you will need Carrd Pro Standard for the use of the Embed element.
Widgets (simple and straightforward option)
📎
Note: widgets such as the following are not an integrated cookie solution – they do not set any preferences for cookies on the user’s browser. They act purely as a one-off consent opt-in only, to indicate you respect data laws. They are best for when you want a simple solution in borderline use cases.
Common Ninja widget
You can easily add a cookie opt-in notice to a Carrd page with Common Ninja’s widget.
You can see it in action in the bottom right of our demo page.
A single Common Ninja widget costs $2.50/mo. They cost less if you subscribe to more than one.
Elfsight widget
You can easily add a cookie opt-in notice to a Carrd page with Elfsight’s widget.
You can make up to 3 Elfsight widgets for $5/mo (you’ll get $15 off a yearly subscription via our link).
Integrated solutions
📎
Note: the following solutions do set preferences for cookies on the user’s browser, not just gather opt-in. They take more work to set up but are more compliant than widgets.
