Here’s a list of what it could be and how you can fix it.

You’ve just moved it to a new custom domain

First, bear in mind it will usually take about 10-15 minutes for a site to go live when you publish on a custom domain for the first time. Contact Carrd if it’s not live after a few hours.

You just signed up to Carrd and not verified your email yet

If you went straight into building a site as a new Carrd customer, you may have just not verified your email yet. Check your inbox.

Your published URL is different to the URL you're viewing on

It’s easy to leave the old tab open after changing the Publish URL from a draft URL to your custom domain. Check they’re the same, or use the View Page button after publishing.

You have violated Carrd's content terms in some way

This is more of a last resort, but can result in this kind of error. Check their Content Policy, then get in touch with support.

If all these ideas don't resolve the issue, you should ask Carrd support. Send them an email explaining and ask if they can help activate your site.
